A2Z : Data and APIs
After following this week video tutorials I feel overwhelm and lost between so many added on videos (promise series is quite a rabbit hole) and do not know where to start. Though I decided to go little by little by creating 2 small sketches following RiTa.js and API tutorials to understand how to run RiTa and API.
First I downloaded RiTa.js library to my laptop then included it into my p5 index. My p5 editor took quite awhile to run after installed the library - which makes me feel like I might need to start trying to work out of p5 environment sometimes, then I realized that I can just copy RiTa library script to index on p5 editor so this problem was fixed.
Rita is one of the popular name for Thai women in baby boomer generation. So I wanted to create an imaginary character name ‘Rita’ - based from my mom whom has a little problem with english and her hearing is not really well, using rhymes to play with this idea. I tired code with rhymes but have no idea where to start and that I have to go back to deal with Regex but ran to Dan’s example that using rhymes which makes me understand better how to use rhymes’s condition better.

After that I continue to try using API. I followed NT Times API tutorial and listed all the article headlines.
