Wikipedia, the world’s largest free online encyclopedia, started the new grants system built on equity & empowerment, collaboration & cooperation, people-centeredness, and promoting innovation and learning. All are demonstrated in three programs as global efforts to support free knowledge, open collaboration, and trust on the Internet. In a time when disinformation and polarization challenge our trust in information and institutions, Wikipedia is more relevant than ever.

“Wikipedia has evolved from a seemingly impossible idea into a sprawling testament to humanity—a place where we can collaborate, share, and learn about anything and everything,” said Katherine Maher, CEO of the Wikimedia Foundation. “It is a global effort of volunteers who elevate knowledge and cooperation over conflict and self-interest. We are committed to preserving the integrity and value of the information at a time when the world needs it most.”

Full Stop [ . ]

Full Stop is an open installation that invites the public to write the memories that they wanted to forget or let go in the providing space.

Abstract : Buddhism is the most common religious in Thailand with approximately more than 95% of the population following this religion. Thai Buddhism population is largely of the Theravada traditional, which tend to be very conservative and strictly followed doctrine and monastic discipline.

Using fluxus’s anti- aesthetic, same as street orders and instructions, with a twist of Buddhist traditional ways of merit making, the artist invites the public to write their stories, conversations, memories or even news that they wanted to forget or let go in the providing space. In this strange facsimile street temple, Suphitcha addressed the problem of finding inner peace in this mad age of over-information between the landscape of reality and fiction.
